Over the river and through the woods, in the foothills of the Adirondacks, is where you will find Heirlooms.

I learned weaving, knitting, and spinning growing up in the country of Denmark. My Scandinavian heritage and the rich colors and textures of the Adirondacks provides inspiration for my designs.

High quality natural fibers ensure those designs will be long lasting. Everything is hand made using looms, spinning wheels, and knitting needles.

In 2004, my husband Michael officially joined the business. With our joint efforts handbags & purses were added in 2005. I've wanted to offer this for years but being one person I never had the time. Now with the two of us we are finally able to add this to our collection.

Among our traditional works are Ranas - rugs and wall hangings woven in Swedish wool. Our rag rug styles range from traditional Scandinavian, casual denim to modern with geometric designs. We also carry a fine selection of table runners, place mats, and mug mats.

Our comfortable hats come in a wide variety of designs from basic wool to felted hats. Among our favorites are the Dancing Granny, Reindeer, White Pines, Acorns and the Autumn Maple Leaf.

We use a wide variety of fibers; mainly hand dyed lambs wool, hand spun, Lopi, alpaca, mohair, chenille, silk, and cotton.

Custom work is welcomed, if you have the vision and we have the materials!
