Gifts from Nature - Woven or Knitted.  Just for You!

~ Solar Powered Since 1993 ~

Over the river and through the woods, in the foothills of the Adirondacks, is where you will find Heirlooms.

Lis learned weaving, knitting, and spinning growing up in the country of Denmark. Her Scandinavian heritage and the rich colors and textures of the Adirondacks provides inspiration for her designs.

High quality natural fibers ensure those designs will be long lasting. Everything is hand made using looms, spinning wheels, and knitting needles.

This year we've added more of Lis's own knitting patterns. We also have a nice selection of our own hand dyed yarns mainly in Brushed Kid Mohair, Mohair and Mohair Boucle.

We love to play with fiber! Hand Spun Yak, Cashmere, Camel, and other fine quality fibers - are also available.

Among our hand woven works are Ranas (traditional rugs and wall hangings woven in Swedish wool). Our rag rug styles range from traditional Scandinavian, casual denim to modern with geometric designs. We also carry a fine selection of table runners, place mats, and purses. The scarves and shawls we weave using a wide variety of fine fibers.

Our comfortable hats are hand knit and some felted. The designs vary from Traditional Scandinavian to Lis’s own designs. Among our favorites are the Dancing Granny, Reindeer, White Pines, Acorns, Wide Brim Fisherman and the Autumn Maple Leaf. The fibers we use are mainly natural fibers. Some hand spun & hand dyed by Lis.

Custom work is welcomed, if you have the vision and we have the materials!
